Welcome to Starlite Valley Producers Limited

Starlite was started in 2016 with a partnership from Kenya Industrial Estates who provided incubation space at a reasonable cost this helped reduce the initial start-up costs which were already high. The name Starlite Valley comes from the star light valleys in Kitui and other surrounding arid and semi-arid areas where we source our raw materials. We are also supplying to a French subsidiary in Tanzania.

The founder who had worked in Citibank for over fifteen years both in Kenya and Tanzania had a great interest in agro-processing and constantly researched on various projects. He wanted to start something that would not only make money and grow the economy of Kenya and create jobs but also touch the lives of the poor. He settled on Arid and semi-arid areas with the baobab fruit which is among the top three nutritious fruits in the world and grows in the arid and semi-arid areas of Africa including Kenya.

The name Starlite Valley comes from the star light valleys in Kitui and other surrounding arid and semi-arid areas where we source our raw materials. The stars constantly remind us of our ancestors who fought so hard for our independence and we must constantly improve our country its people and environment for the independence to make sense. The company’s products will link the arid and semi-arid areas of Kenya with the sophisticated markets of the world and in the process improve their lives.
